About the Course
English 397 is designed for students to practice writing for a range of online contexts. This class helps guide students through what it means to ‘write’ in the age of digital data,
screens, Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat and smart phones, and how digital technologies and the Internet affect the way we read, write, and think.

Importantly, in this course students also explore the rhetorical, social, and technical contexts that shape how they write, distribute, and circulate writing for the web as well as consider the ethical choices they make as writers.

English 397 is offered at the University of Delaware. This blog is contributed to by students in the Spring 2024 course.
